My intrepid co-host and best buddy, Happy Medic, and I are returning to the airwaves. After taking damn near a year off, we have completely re-tooled the format.
We’ve returned to our original media of straight-up audio. Although we both immensely enjoyed the Google Hangout experience, we decided that an actual format and some, what’s it called…forethought?, may be a nice addition.
Consequently, we spent some actual time
having a pint coming up with a coherent show that will deliver you some excellent content.
What won’t change is our camaraderie, our dedication to our respective disciplines, our commitment to our audience, and our vow to bring you relevant content that has been scientifically proven to make you a better cop, firefighter, and/or paramedic.*
Seriously, though, we are both excited about the direction the podcast has taken and the topics we will be covering.
As a teaser, here are some of the topics/guests we have lined up for coming shows:
- Active Shooter
- Death Penalty
- Time Management
- Interviews with Heidi Rogers, Ben Pugh with Uniform Stories, and a DRE Instructor
We’re both stoked about getting back on the podcasting horse, as it were. We’d love to ask you two favors, though.
- If you’re a first responder and can spare a patch, we’ve a special use for them on the show and we’d love to get our hands on your agency’s patch. If we use your patch on the show, you will have the opportunity to get your hands on the one-of-a-kind Crossover Show patch (which is yet to be designed, mind you). You can mail them ℅ Motorcop at PO Box 3 Clayton, CA 94517.
- When the podcast launches, our goal is to hit the New and Noteworthy section of iTunes. If you’d be so kind as to give the show a listen and give us a 5-star rating on iTunes, it will raise us in the rankings and give us the chance to get our message out to more folks.
Thanks in advance for listening and for your support. I speak on behalf of Justin and myself when I tell you it is our honor and privilege to bring back the podcast and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it for you!
*Also not changing is our sarcasm.
