Over the past couple of months, I’ve compiled a list of 64 TV shows from you, my readers. They have been broken down into four divisions randomly. If your favorite is missing, you’ve no one to blame but yourself.
Without further ado:
1. Southland (2009-2013). Southland takes a raw look at Los Angeles as it is in the 2000s and as well at the lives of the officers of the Los Angeles Police Department who are trying to contain it.
2. Boomtown (2002-2003). Each episode of this series, set in present day Los Angeles, examines one crime from many different viewpoints – uniformed cops, detectives, witnesses, the media, the fire department and rescue squad, even the criminals themselves.
3. Mannix (1967-1975). Mannix worked originally for Wickersham at Intertect and then struck out on his own, assisted by Peggy Fair (whose cop-husband had been killed) and police department contact Tobias.
4. CSI (2000- ). This show follows the nights of the detectives working at the Las Vegas Police Department Crime Scene Investigations bureau.
Only one of these four will advance to the Savory Sixteen. Voting for this round of the Tim Horton’s Division will end today at 1500 hrs. Left Coast time.
