Round 4 Dunkin’ Donuts Division: #BestCopTVShow

Over the past couple of months, I’ve compiled a list of 64 TV shows from you, my readers.  They have been broken down into four divisions randomly.  If your favorite is missing, you’ve no one to blame but yourself.

Without further ado:

1. Law & Order: SVU (1999- ).  This show introduces the Special Victims Unit, a new elite squad of NYPD detectives who investigate sexually related crimes…and one of Hollywood’s Worst Cops.

2. The Closer (2005-2012).  Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson runs the Priority Homicide Division of the LAPD with an unorthodox style. Her innate ability to read people and obtain confessions helps her and her team solve the city’s toughest, most sensitive cases.

3. Monk (2002-2009). Adrian Monk is a brilliant San Francisco detective, whose obsessive compulsive disorder just happens to get in the way.

4. Flashpoint (2008-2012). The missions and trials of a Toronto police tactical unit…which is weird because Canadians are so damn polite.

Only one of these four will advance to the Savory Sixteen.  Voting for fourth and final round of the Dunkin’ Donuts Division will end today at 2300 hrs. Left Coast time.

I’d love to see this tournament all over social media! Please share at will on your various social media homes! Just make sure folks come back here to vote!

  1. Closer. Don’t like any if them. Just getting an entry in.

  2. Law and order: Anything sucks. Flashpoint should be banned. The other ones I’ve never watched. I vote None of the above.

  3. Flashpoint… I always thought Monk was stupid, never seen the closer, and I’ll be damned if I’m giving any credit to Ice-T selling out to play a cop after all his lovely poetry about us in the late 80s.

  4. Law and Order SVU…longest running, still in production of all of them!

  5. I also really can’t STAND Ice-T, but I loved SVU during the Stabler-Benson years, so Law & Order:SVU gets my vote
