Round 2 Winchell’s Division: #BestCopTVShow

Over the past couple of months, I’ve compiled a list of 64 TV shows from you, my readers.  They have been broken down into four divisions randomly.  If your favorite is missing, you’ve no one to blame but yourself.

Without further ado:

1. Third Watch (1999-2005).  The exploits of a group of men and women who serve the City of New York as police officers, firemen, and paramedics in the fictional 55th Precinct.

2. Psych (2006- ).  A novice sleuth is hired by the police after he cons them into thinking he has psychic powers that help solve crimes. With this assistance of his reluctant best friend the duo take on a series of complicated cases.

3. Highway Patrol (1955-1959). Powerful patrol cars, fast motorcycles, and superheterodyne two-way radios combine to fight crime on the rural highways of America’s wide open spaces.

4. The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968). Widower Sheriff Andy and his son Opie live with Andy’s Aunt Bee in Mayberry NC. With virtually no crimes to solve, most of Andy’s time is spent philosophizing and calming down his cousin Deputy Barney.

Only one of these four will advance to the Savory Sixteen.  Voting for first round of the Winchell’s Division will end today at 1800 hrs. Left Coast time.

I’d love to see this tournament all over social media! Please share at will on your various social media homes! Just make sure folks come back here to vote!
