Round 1 Winchell’s Division: #BestCopTVShow

Over the past couple of months, I’ve compiled a list of 64 TV shows from you, my readers.  They have been broken down into four divisions randomly.  If your favorite is missing, you’ve no one to blame but yourself.

Without further ado:

1. Sledgehammer! (1986-1988).  The adventures of a dumb police detective who always looks for the most violent solution to any problem.

2. The Shield (2002-2008).  The story of an inner-city Los Angeles police precinct where some of the cops aren’t above breaking the rules or working against their associates to both keep the streets safe and their self-interests intact.

3. The Job (2001-2002). New York detective Mike McNeil is well-known for his unconventional approach of fighting crime. But it also takes a toll in his personal life complicated by his wife and girlfriend on the side.

4. Hawaii 5-0 (1968-1980). The investigations of Hawaii Five-0, an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police answerable only to the governor and headed by stalwart Steve McGarrett.

Only one of these four will advance to the Savory Sixteen.  Voting for first round of the Winchell’s Division will end today at 1800 hrs. Left Coast time.

I’d love to see this tournament all over social media! Please share at will on your various social media homes! Just make sure folks come back here to vote!
