MC Gives You a Turn

Things have been a mite angst-ridden the past few days here at MCPD and for good reason.  The last couple days have taken their toll, if you’ve been paying attention.  While I take the day to be with my family, I thought it may be a good time to hear from my fellow bloggers and readers.

Now that summer is right around the corner (except in CA, apparently, where it freaking rained yesterday).  I thought it would be nice to give you all an opportunity to share some of your work with a potentially new audience.  Go back and look at your favorite blog post that you wrote this Spring.  What inspired you, entertained you, or made you proud?

If you’re a blogger, leave a comment with a link to your favorite blog post that you wrote in March, April, or May.  If you’re not a blogger, leave a comment and throw some love to something you read in the last three months.

I look forward to checking out what you want to share!

  1. Thank you MC! I’ve been taking a bit of a sabbatical, but it will be kicking off back again this week. I have a new batch of stuff to blargh about.. But this one about 10 things I learned is worthy of reading, because it made me review it again when wanting to post it. I need to review where I am at mid-year again this week (How did it get to be June already!?) http://edwardlife.info/blog/?p=820

Or for those of you who may read and want just LEO related stuff, here’s a great anti DUI montage of PSA campaign clips. YToo bad they are “too graphic” for the U.S. market- maybe that is what it takes.. http://edwardlife.info/blog/?p=794

  2. No specific blog post or other blog but yours. Police Week 2011 has come and gone, and here is a Happy Belated Police Week to you, Officer Motorcop. Thanks for all that you do in your profession, including the wacky / crazy / dangerous people that you are paid to encounter. Your blog is insightful and funny. Your sense of humor and “that’s reality, deal with it!” style is exactly what people need to read. Your blog gives me some satisfaction in intangible ways, things I cannot really put into words. I had some hard times in 1998-2000 that somehow piqued my interest in your specific profession, and your blog does a mind and soul plenty good. Keep up the good work!

    Me ke aloha pumehana,

  3. Haha! Iove these posts! My favorite that I wrote was Genesis 49: Famous Last Tweets. Getting a lot of good feedback on that one. And thanks for tweeting it BTW!

Hope you’re doing well. that was a tough week. I’m sorry.

    • Cheers, Ben. It’s been rough, to be sure, and I appreciate your kindness.

Your link is a favorite of mine as well! Like I said, comedy gold!

  4. I guess since your Supreme Court Double Dog Dare post inspired me to write about some of our own antics, I’ll link to that one…

Sorry to hear about your SFFD brethren, MC. I’m sure you’ve already hugged Mrs. MC and the kidlets extra tight — be safe out there…
