As you may or may not be aware, I recently launched my new business, GPS Financial Coaching. It is steadily growing and I’m overjoyed to report my client list is expanding. What follows is a post from my GPS blog in which I had the opportunity to be interviewed for a video podcast led by Brian Cain, the founder of Millennial Cop, a site dedicated to leadership in law enforcement.
Cain approached me for an interview about personal finance as it relates primarily to the LEO community. As it happens, I’m not short on knowledge in either area. ‘Twas a good fit. Other than feeling weird being on a video podcast sans helmet, I enjoyed the interview and am happy to present it here.
I know a lot of you are hurting financially and could benefit from some direction. That is WHY I created GPS. Check out the interview and the website and let me know how I can assist.
It’s amazing how small the world is getting these days. Three weeks ago, I posted about an experiment I would be taking part in. The last few weeks have been incredible as a result. I’ve had the opportunity to meet a number of people from a ton of different backgrounds all over the country.
Probably the most amazing thing was being connected with three other first responders. One a firefighter in my own backyard. The other my partner for the experiment…a sergeant in Kentucky. And finally, the last another sergeant, but from Georgia, Brian Cain. He’s an aspiring podcaster and we had been following one another on Twitter for quite some time.
Brian started a podcast about leadership in the law enforcement arena called “Millenial Cop”. I was honored to be asked to come on the show (video-wise, no less) and submit myself to an interview.
Although the interview is geared toward cops, there is still some insight into who I am and WHY GPS does what it does. Big thanks to Brian and his burgeoning podcast. I know I’ll continue to tune in and I hope you do as well.
Without further ado, I give you the interview…a full five days before it airs on Millenial Cop!
